Episode 06: Cheap Trip
Nov 21st, 2011 by smilingjacksbarandgrill
Veronica, Justin, and Ron were joined by Rocky Mountain Savages, Ed Pallis, Bill Stilson, and Benn Williams. The staff discussed:
- Justin's and Ed's antics in Ron's Solomon Kane game, and other Savage merriment, at Rise of the Wombat (thanks to Total Escape Games).
- Feedback received via email, the PEG site, and the Bar & Grill site.
- Upcoming Savageness at GenghisCon, including great guests, a huge SSN, and a phenomenal overall Savage presence on the game schedule (one of which will include Veronica's first con game, Deadlands).
- New and upcoming Savage releases, and whether or not Wiggy is actually a super computer.
- Cooking with Justin (mmm… kale chips).
- The healing rules.
- Gritty damage.
- Holding actions in combat.

Grettings from Germany. Again a very good show.
But i have one question: If i draw a joker and my opponent is on hold. Must ein roll an opposed agility check to interrupt his action?
I’m rellay lokking foward for your next show and the big part about the chase rules.
Good show. I think it would have been better if that Chris guy was on it. Hopefully next month!!
Hey thanks guys for discussing Interface Zero, I appreciate it.
I love the funyons and Mountain dew thing…
“THE FUNYONS ARE STUCK IN THE MACHINE!!!!!”
The PvP two greatest swordsmen face-off on the front lawn was pretty hilarious, and I somehow managed to survive IRL sitting next to diabeeeeetus plagued Justin (who was like Santa Claus and/or a drug pusher at a middle school with the free samples of Wombat Dice - Thanks Justin).
I have a feeling that there’ll be a sequel adventure in a few years when that poor little kid we saved comes to grips with his evil father trying to steal his soul and/or hijack the demon, plus our own clearly competent rescue attempt. Do they have psychotherapy and Prozac in Solomon Kane?
See you guys down the road…
